About Arele
Arele Oster was a dedicated Magid Shiur in Yeshiva, beloved by all who knew him. On Erev Pesach 2019, his life was turned upside down when he went into sudden septic shock. Doctors had little hope for his survival, and after a series of open miracles, Arele lived—but tragically, all four of his limbs had to be amputated, and he initially faced paralysis and severe brain damage.
At that critical time, thousands of kindhearted people—over 21,000 donors—came together in an incredible campaign to save Arele’s life. Thanks to their generosity and the tefilos of Klal Yisroel, Arele survived and began the long road to recovery.
With intensive therapy, family support, and a home specially adapted to his medical needs, Arele has made extraordinary progress: he can now move most of his body, walk with prosthetic legs, participate in family simchas, and actively join tefilos in shul. His arms continue to improve, and he is steadily regaining independence.
While miracles have brought him this far, the road to full recovery remains long and expensive. Ongoing therapy, living costs, and care for his family require continued support. Your monthly or one-time gift helps ensure Arele receives the care he needs—and allows his family to focus on what truly matters: his healing and life at home.
Please join us in supporting Arele and in davening for Aharon ben Chana, that he should continue to grow stronger each day and be blessed with a full and complete recovery.
